Community Action Dacorum is a charity that provides a circle of support to the local community. As a council for voluntary service, we believe in bringing people together to achieve more in their communities and improve quality of life.

What we do

• Support voluntary organisations and community groups at the early stages of their development
• Provide funding advice, representation and a payroll service to help them grow and flourish
• Deliver services and projects that support local individuals, businesses and community groups in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility, Adult Learning, Employability, Interpreting and Translation, Social Inclusion, Media, Disability and Community Transport
• Use our local expertise to engage in a range of European Projects in the areas of active citizenship and Lifelong Learning

Radio Dacorum is a community based radio station; broadcast 24/7 through the internet, combining music with an opportunity for residents, voluntary organisations, public authorities and private companies to promote their local activities, along with encouraging a sense of pride in the Dacorum area.
